Enhanced Delivery Visibility

 A new mobile solution for our national Pallet network is now operational at each of our nine depots. The mobile platform is fully integrated with our transport management systems and provides live web-based information on all deliveries through our internet customer portal.

After an extensive pilot-project, live implementation proceeded on a depot-by-depot basis during April and May.

The investment in mobile hardware and software development provides a foundation from which to improve the quality and timeliness of information to our customers.

The solution offers:
• Live consignment tracking and delivery status events
• Electronic signature capture
• ETA calculation
• Drivers are directed via imbedded Satnav to planned delivery points (using routes appropriate to commercial vehicles)
• Photos are captured immediately for “claused” consignments at either collection or delivery
