LGV CLASS 1 DRIVER (Night) - CARDIFF - circa £584.06 per week

An opportunity has arisen within our Cardiff depot for an experienced LGV 1 driver to join our team of professional drivers.

Working on a regular night shift you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of goods between customer and depot locations.

Starting with a full and detailed training and induction programme, we will continue to support your ongoing development with the opportunity to study for further qualifications such as the ADR licence. Further benefits are available through the provision of full uniform and PPE, tachograph cards and driver medicals. The company also operates an attractive contributory pension scheme. In addition Rhys Davies Logistics are an accredited training centre offering free-of-charge Driver CPC modules in-house to maintain your Drivers Qualification Card.

TRAINEE LGV CLASS 2 DRIVER - CARDIFF - circa £385.12 Per Week.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and positive individual to join our team at our Cardiff Depot, on our Trainee LGV Programme.
 
Ideally you will possess a 7.5 Tonne licence with multi drop experience.
 
Starting with a full and detailed training and induction programme, we will continue to support your ongoing development with the opportunity to study for further qualifications such as the ADR licence.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and positive individuals to join our team at the Cardiff Depot.

If you have spare capacity within your legal working hours, we can offer you additional shifts at extremely competitive rates.  These can be arranged to suit your needs; night or day work, with no minimum commitment required.

A shift will consist of a maximum time of 11.5 hours, including an unpaid break of 30 minutes.

Rate of Pay for a Shift

Weekday Shift - £106.11

Weekend Shift - £137.94

A Friday day shift which ends after 9.00 p.m. will be paid at £137.94

LGV CLASS 1 AWAY FLEET DRIVER - Cardiff Circa £597.40 per week. 

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, organised and positive individual to join our team at the Cardiff Depot.

You must possess a C & E Class 1 licence. An ADR licence and Driving Qualification Card is essential. The payment scheme will be related to the number of trips, drops and changeovers that you complete in a week. A bonus scheme is also payable every quarter. You will also be required to complete nights out, dependant upon business requirements. The pay structure will be explained during the interview.

TRAFFIC PLANNER/ADMINISTRATOR (Weekends) - Cardiff.  Salary Dependent on Experience.

Hours of Work: Typically 42 hours.

We are currently looking for a determined and positive individual to join our team at our Cardiff Depot.
 
The successful candidate will possess transport and Traffic Office knowledge and will be working in a fast moving environment.  You will be comfortable operating under pressure and possess a high commitment to customer care, with excellent IT, administration and interpersonal skills. The ability to work as a member of a small, flexible team and have a strong appreciation of excellent Health and Safety standards are pre-requisite for the position.
 
The person will report to a Traffic Office Team Leader and be expected to communicate to a high level.  Working across each weekend you will have a particular focus on the company's sub-contraction operation.  Attention to detail and ensuring that operational decisions are taken that deliver the best service at the best cost are core elements to the role.  You will also be responsible for associated elements of negotiation with sub-contractors and administration.  Previous planning experience would be most beneficial.
 
This post covers Friday to Tuesday inclusive and will act as the first point of contact over weekends for this busy transport office. The candidate must be able therefore to work on their own and to use their own initiative.
