WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE - RADLETT (DAYS).

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and positive individual to join our team at our Radlett depot, working on a regular day shift. 
 
You should be pro-active, enthusiastic, well organised and have excellent interpersonal skills.  
                                 
Duties will be varied, incorporating goods inwards, put-away, retrieval, picking and goods outward. You will need to hold a current Counter Balance Fork Lift Licence, additional FLT Licences are advantageous i.e. Reach etc. Picking tasks will be across a wide variety of products and can be physically demanding. 
 
Starting with a full and detailed training and induction programme, we will continue to support your on-going development; further benefits are available through the provision of full uniform and PPE.
 
The company also operates an attractive contributory pension scheme. 
 
We offer good rates of pay and recognise long service through additional benefits such as enhanced holiday entitlement and financial rewards, equipment provided also reflects our desire to work in a safe and professional manner.
 
Shift pattern comprise a five day basic week Monday to Friday.

LGV CLASS 2 DRIVER (Days) - RADLETT  - OTE £586.50 per week.
 

An opportunity has arisen within our Radlett Depot for an experienced LGV 2 driver to join our team of professional drivers.. 

 

Working on a regular day shift you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of goods on a multi-drop basis in the East, South East and Central London. Ideal candidates will have previous multi-drop delivery experience and a good geographical knowledge of the area.  Successful candidates should be well presented, work in a safe manner, be customer focused and to possess a 'can do' attitude.  Strong basic levels of numeracy and literacy are also required.

Starting with a full and detailed training and induction programme, we will continue to support your on going development with the opportunity to study for further qualifications such as the ADR licence.  Further benefits are available through the provision of full uniform and PPe, tachograph cards and driver medicals.  The fleet and equipment provided also reflects our desire to work in a safe and professional manner.

TRANSPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER - RADLETT.

We are now seeking applications for the role of Transport Operations Manager in St Albans. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the transport operations at one of the company’s key distribution sites and provide operational support to the Warehouse Manager and wider warehouse team. Working with an experienced operational team and assisting in developing new team members, you will use your passion and commitment to drive performance and growth at the site

As Transport Operations Manager you will provide clear leadership and be a confident and capable people manager. You will be responsible for delivering demanding P&L targets for the fleet and will be accountable for maintaining and improving on operational KPI’s through excellent customer service. A serious focus on the maintenance and health and safety standards is also a pre-requisite. Achieving success through engaging, motivating and developing the present team of drivers and traffic office staff will be paramount in the development of your role and the growth of the site. An understanding and full interaction with warehouse operations is also required to ensure an effective relationship is created and maintained.

Candidates for this role will have previous experience of successfully managing distribution operations, ideally within a “shared user,” multi customer operation. You must also possess management and leadership qualities in order to motivate, inspire and develop your team. You will be commercially focused and will have an instinctive “feel” for numbers and what is profitable.

This is an excellent chance for the successful candidate to really make their mark within this business, with long-term progression opportunities available for the right individual.
