WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE SCOTLAND - Salary Dependant on Experience.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and positive individual to join our team at our Scotland depot. 
 
You should be pro-active, enthusiastic, well organised and have excellent interpersonal skills.  
                                 
Duties will be varied, incorporating goods inwards, put-away, retrieval, picking and goods outward. You will need to hold a current Counter Balance Fork Lift Licence, additional FLT Licences are advantageous i.e. Reach etc. Picking tasks will be across a wide variety of products and can be physically demanding. 
 
Starting with a full and detailed training and induction programme, we will continue to support your on-going development; further benefits are available through the provision of full uniform and PPE.
 
The company also operates an attractive contributory pension scheme. 
 
We offer good rates of pay and recognise long service through additional benefits such as enhanced holiday entitlement and financial rewards, equipment provided also reflects our desire to work in a safe and professional manner.
 
Shift pattern comprise a five day basic week Monday to Friday.   Basic hours 40 per week plus overtime.

LGV CLASS 2 DRIVER (Days) - SCOTLAND  - £440.55 per week plus bonus earnings.
 

An opportunity has arisen within our Scotland Depot for an experienced LGV 2 driver to join our team of professional drivers.. 

 

Working on a regular day shift you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of goods on a multi-drop basis in the Central Belt of Scotland. Ideal candidates will have previous multi-drop delivery experience and a good geographical knowledge of the area.  Successful candidates should be well presented, work in a safe manner, be customer focused and to possess a 'can do' attitude.  Strong basic levels of numeracy and literacy are also required.

Starting with a full and detailed training and induction programme, we will continue to support your on going development with the opportunity to study for further qualifications such as the ADR licence.  Further benefits are available through the provision of full uniform and PPe, tachograph cards and driver medicals.  The fleet and equipment provided also reflects our desire to work in a safe and professional manner.

The Company also operates an attractive contributory pension scheme.  In addition Rhys Davies Logistics are an accredited training centre offering free-of-charge Driver CPC modules in-house to maintain your Drivers Qualification Card.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Traffic Planner to join our Scotland Team.

 

Salary Dependent on Experience

 

Communicating with drivers, managers, sub-contractors and key personnel, you will be responsible for the cost effective and efficient planning of inbound and outbound deliveries and collections, whilst maintaining the highest possible standards of Customer Service. 

 

Effective planning and running of a fleet of vehicles and drivers, giving regard to legal compliance and drivers’ hours.

 

With excellent attention to detail and demonstrating a desire to reach the demanding financial and service targets set by our customers and our business, while accurately, updating and maintaining the system and paper based records.

 

You’ll be proactive, enthusiastic and be comfortable under pressure; you’ll be committed to a business which will support your continued development. 

 

Person Specification and Skills:

 

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a transport planning environment, with sound geographical knowledge.

 

Working as a member of a small and very successful team, you will have flexibility and enjoy working to targets.

 

You will be enthusiastic and proactive with the ability to work on your own initiative.

 

Good levels of numeracy, literacy and IT skills are essential.

 

A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations is a pre-requisite.

 

Working hours typically: Monday to Friday 47.5hrs per week between 10am and 8pm, although some flexibility will be expected to meet operational requirements.
