It offers a comprehensive nationwide pallet distribution service, as well as specialising in "Total Logistics Solutions" to customers with more demanding warehousing and distribution requirements. It has an annual turnover in excess of £37m, and over 400 staff.

The fleet, in excess of 170 vehicles, ranges from vans and rigids through to a substantial fleet of articulated vehicles, with some 150 curtain-sided and double deck trailers.

The Company’s premises in Cardiff provides warehousing in excess of 80,000 square feet and, together with operating centres in Andover, Barnsley, Birmingham, Haydock, London, Newton Aycliffe, Rainham and Scotland, forms a national network of warehousing in excess of 560,000 square feet.

More recently, due to changes in retail buying patterns and the need to minimise stock holding, RDL has specialised in the provision of value added services, including re-work and re-packing, QC auditing and even paint mixing.
